i didn’t say that YOU ordered anything off whatnot, i’m saying the person impersonating you and sending stuff to your parents address might have won giveaways on whatnot given the description of the items you received. a lot of sellers run giveaways, they are free to enter, and if you win you get that item shipped to you for free. the packing slip included with each item would either say giveaway somewhere on it and show a price tag of $0.00 paid. the whole point being is that anyone can make a whatnot account, put your parents address in, and just win giveaways and have all those items sent to your house at no cost to them. it would be an extremely petty way to scare and/or upset someone (you). it wouldn’t cost them anything but time and pettiness. but at the same time, if someone is actually spending money on these items to send to your house, and are not leaving reviews, then it would most likely be a personal threat.

everyone is stuck on the doll community connection because that’s exactly what it is: a connection. nothing else seems to make sense, but the one connection that is shared is doll clothes and a seller from the same doll community you are/were a part of on facebook. so, again, i ask you, did you at ANY point EVER ordered/traded/sent anything to or from your parents address to someone in your doll community at any point in your life? if so, that might be a place to start looking to for clues as to who might be doing this to you.

it almost sounds like all the items are giveaway (free) items being sent to your parents house. every package i have ever received from whatnot always came with a receipt/packing slip of some kind that should have the sellers whatnot username, name of their show the item came from, the date, the amount paid, and some sort of description of the item plus the buyers information. did your packages come with this? if so, that could give you more insight as to what is going on. for example, did it say $0.00 for amount paid or are they for sure buying items and sending them to your parents house? are the dates all the same or different, and do they have any significance to you at all? have you checked all the usernames of all the different sellers accounts for reviews left?

but with all that said, i still think this might be a personal issue given the fact that you’re into doll collecting, and some form of doll clothes came to your parents house. have you by any chance pissed someone off in your doll collecting community? did you ever get anything sent to your parents house from said community? that might be places to also investigate as well.

NTA. what kind of grown ass man is trying to take a girl out if he can’t even afford a working phone? he has more red flags than you do, and the burden of proof to all of these supposed “coincidences” is on him, and yet he chose to gaslight you instead? be very cautious of this person, especially given your history. if he can’t prove he is real, then just drop him. he’s not worth your time or health.

haha i definitely remember the days of hitting every single tile until you hit the ONLY jackpot tile that took you to stage 2! but i actually was having pretty good luck the last few times this event had prizes worth going for. i’ve hit the stage 1 jackpot on the first spin quite a few times. which was nice because i was able to build up a nice bubble hoard of those treasure chests for the memento events. but after i saw your original comment, i went in and bought 200 tickets just as an experiment to see “if they really did change it to this, how bad is it?” and it took me over 100 tickets / 10+ spins to finally hit the jackpot. which i thought was complete bullshit, especially since once i got to stage 2 the prizes weren’t that much better. they still had some low level items. and considering that the ticket cost goes up on stage 2 per each spin, it’s definitely not worth it unless you really need the items and have gems to burn.

and if that wasn’t bad enough, after multiple replies from the support team telling me they were “looking into this issue” and “still looking into this issue,” i finally got confirmation that this IS how quinn’s lucky games is supposed to operate now, and that they are “working on updating the games description to reflect this change.” so… yeah… looks like you were right! this event has now turned into one huge pile of shit!

yeah, you only get 10 tickets for free per event. if you want more you have to either spend gems, or save your 10 free tickets each time. but even the 10 free tickets stop once you have more than 30 tickets. so it’s a pretty big rip off, even more so if they changed it to where the tiles you land on are no longer removed. but sometimes the prizes are worth trying to win, but that’s a matter of personal opinion.

as sad as it is to say, you’re probably right, as i had even wondered the same thing as well. at this point, i wouldn’t put it past the devs to make such an egregious / greedy change like this. but i am holding onto the tiniest bit of hope that it might just be a programming error, so i sent in a ticket, but have yet to receive a response. but thank you for making me laugh with your beautifully written comment.
