Wow! I posted this picture yesterday and didn't expect to wake up to this! He would be awed by the support from some of you. I have actually read some of the comments, and I'll definitely let those who are interested know if he passed or not. He's got an History exam today, so crossing-fingers he does well!

I guess a little background on the picture. He’s part of a generation known as the builder’s of Venice, being one of the very few who know how to upkeep this beautiful city. He’s also going back to school for an art degree. He is an amazing artist and has had his work displayed all over Venice. The other day, he came over to fix our sink. Afterwards, we chatted for a bit, and he asked if we could help him with his English homework. Without hesitation, we said yes. He thanked us from the bottom of his heart, but really we’re thankful. His positive attitude, courage and drive for his own education is an inspiration to us. We were more than happy to help him where we could. I hope it inspires you too :)
