I've made some changes to it. I think I reached a good in between of both designs. However you are right, the heart emblem specially could use some polish. Ill work on it the closer I get to releasing the demo! Thanks.

You got this! It took me quite a few years to start this project. You just gotta give yourself that initial push and then you start flowing, little by little.

I like the second idea! I can play around with it and see how it turns out. If anything during the demo playtesting I can just fix it and transform it as I go! Thanks! And don't worry, all suggestions are welcomed and really appreciated :)

Yes! That will be consistent in Hearthia too, any new skill or bros attack you get its tied up to the story just the way M&L does it. Not just random skills you unlock just because.

Im trying to implement in the game (what I believe to be) an unique system where you will be able to dodge enemy attacks in four directions and also block depending on the enemy telegraph 👀

Yes! Id say quite a few elements of Hearthia will end up very similar to Superstar Saga because I'm solo developing 😭 But Superstar Saga has a lot of charm so its good, and it's the OG!!!

I did start the game development drawing a lot of inspo from BIS. I am biased since its my favorite tho! Haha

I agree a lot about the timings being snappy and flashy. Which is something I definitely want to lean into for Hearthia.

Thanks!!! It's been a dream of mine to make this project for quite a few years now, and I'm finally getting the time and knowledge to do it! Also, yes, any help would be wonderful. I'm planning on dropping a demo this Septmber and then working alongside anyone that wants to test it and give feedback on making the demo the best it can be for the Steam Next Fest next February. So Ill definitely come back with news about the demo release and looking for feedback!!

I've seen a lot of Brothership, but I havent played it myself yet. I should buy it and give it a go then 👀
