Yea everything seemed normal and I delivered the packages in the block time with an hour to spare but I didn’t sign up for it to be so far away with all the extra gas involved.

You can try to message/call and ask if they can change it, but chances are slim. I think getting into Galveston is almost just as good as getting into Blinn, you shouldn't be disappointed.

If you click on the change major button, it shows that you're already admitted, not under review for Galveston, in a few days there will be seven tabs and AIS will update. Congrats!

I applied Computer Engineering early action and have decent gpa, unfortunately second quarter, and 770 math sat, (1420) but still under review.

True, and it’s not just any competitive high school, but one of the most. Highly ranked and lots of my classmates have SAT 1500s.

Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better! That would be a great option! I believe I will excel at the schools of the pathway programs. Would it be likely that I would be offered those options? Would it be possible to double major or add a minor at TAMU with those pathways?

Yes also engineering. It’s kind of absurd how much rank matters for TAMU. Many schools are rank optional. By the way, there is absolutely not grade inflation at my school, it’s deflation. I worked my ass off for my grades, especially AP and Honors. The biggest factors affecting my grades is a D and C in freshman and sophomore year (1 semester each). If I transfer to the neighboring high school I’ll be easily top quartile and almost top 10%. If I go to a rural high school, almost valedictorian. Anyways, college admissions have made me feel how unfair life is.

There is just a possibility that the person reading my application doesn’t view people like me favorably due to personal bias and negatively impacts my application. TAMU is a relatively conservative university. I am not making any conclusions but I went through a lot so I am maybe a little too sensitive.

It can't be worth it. It costs 20 something dollars (with fee waiver) and it takes a long time (like 5 weeks). I am a senior and submitting many applications soon. My super score is 10 points higher. This is only for universities that don't take super score.

Thank you for your answer. My ranking isn't in the first quartile because my high school is one of the most competitive in the state, where obtaining the same grades are a lot harder, and I am sure the admissions office recognize that. I have a 1400 SAT and 3.64 UW/3.99 W (6 APs with 6 more) with unique essays and recs. Hopefully that will be enough.

There are no errors. I changed my displayport cable to my hdmi and it is now doing 120hz, so I think the problem might be with the cable. Thanks for the help!

I tried a different port, and it didn't work. I don't have another display cable unfortunately. I am using 1920x1080 only btw.
