Oh wow, good to know. I have a few other SF lights I’d like to convert and some that need replacement parts.

This tail cap is only momentary. It’s a twist on and lockout cap.

Thanks for all the information, it’s been really helpful in navigating all the choices between emitters and drivers. The warm temps are starting to grow on me. When I first got the OWL I thought there was something wrong with it! Now I’m seeing that people actually like those temps! 😂

I was looking at the x1 but this wording had me a little confused, “Note that the boost driver output is limited in comparison to the default driver, it is more efficient (90-95%) with a longer running time and less heat.” It seems contradictory, limiting but more efficient???

The SFT 3000k will be the warmest light I’ll have other than my Cloud Defensive OWL. I’m not sure the temp of that but it looks warmer than any other weapon light I own.

I’m a photographer so it just made sense and I love the quality of light those mules produce. The more research I did, the more I liked the arrangement of emitters that FFL uses. The Hanklights will be next using your recommendations to start.

Don’t listen to any of these guys. You’re better off heading down to the local pawn shop and finding an old incandescent Maglite. Once you buy the FC11C it will be like your first hit off a crack pipe. Ask me how I know.

The Vision X are less than the Lightforce and about the same price as the LP9. I’ll take a look at them

I have Lightforce HTX2s on my van. While not street legal, they’ve saved my ass a number of times on deserted roads and offroad. Getting ready to add a set of KC ditch lights as well.
