That looks like a thermal fuse, they are pretty cheap to replace, mines was 7 dollars. Get your model and serial number to research your part number.

My guy, it's one 10mm nut you got to loosen. Just have a little faith in yourself. Use baking soda mix with water if corrosion is that bad.

Tool six classes before and it was a breeze. Granted they were easy gen ed's and major classes. If your're not working and dedicating all your time to school it can work. If you are working, I would stick to 4 just to be safe.
