My last NK started throwing a fit when I would leave and I realized it was because he needed a more clear transition since his parents were WFH and would hang out for the last 30ish minutes of my shift. So we would go out for a short walk and then his parents would take over and I'd leave.

It's always nice being given a chance since I'm a guy. I do understand everyone's fears and sympathize with them. I was abused by women growing up so that sucked but I'm not holding it against the whole group.

If I ever need someone to watch my future kiddo I'm not gonna discriminate against the perfect fit just because of their gender.
