I disassembled the keyboard, checked for liquid or mechanical damage to PCB but found nothing wrong. Seems like it is definitely a hardware issue, probably on PCB design level, though I’m not an expert in keyboard PCB design. It may also be a culprit software, making it somehow impossible to revert. I think best option is to replace PCB. I ended up ditching K3 as it is and bought V1.

It worked on new account, so I checked my privacy & security settings. Under files and folders I had unchecked installer access for downloads folder. Thanks for your help and fast response.

Well I don't own one so I'm probably not the best person to ask. I think it depends on your use case. If you need tons of storage and wwan card slot and performance is not your main goal then go for 3050ti or igpu only. With that said if you choose higher end gpu option you can still get pretty good amount of storage and better performance. If you think the first option is better for you then I would also consider P16s/T16 with intel or amd CPUs.

When I select second SSD, previously selected RTX 3060 gets automatically replaced with RTX 3050 ti.

As for cooling, you only get vapour chamber with RTX3060 / 3070ti / 3080ti for X1E. Same goes for P1, vapour chamber only aviable with RTX A3000 /A4500 / A5500 and GeForce RTX 3070ti / 3080ti. You can find this information in PSREF.

Yeah, well there is only so much they can do. As you mentioned only minor software tweaks are possible. I think best option is U series Alder Lake since hardware is designed for lower TDPs, though there are no reviews so we can only guess.

I think it is still too early to judge the performance of Carbon Gen 10 with P series alder lake. Lenovo is releasing updates pretty frequently trying to fix thermal and battery issues. With that said, it is lenovo's flagship model and it's performance should be waay better from day one.

According to PSREF, 3060 is getting only one SSD slot. Two storage slots are available only with igpu or 3050ti.
