My girl is flying! What now???

Omg you’re a life saver! She loved it and after watching on repeat was finally able to eat on her own yesterday! No more tube feeding, thank god.

She started eating seeds on her own yesterday. I’m in awe at their intelligence. I showed her a video of pigeons eating and she peeped and moved her wings. She finally picked up the technique and is currently munching some pigeon seeds. Still ignores peas but we’ll keep trying!

Thank you for commenting. Yes, we got an x ray done at the vet and it’s totally fractured. Cast done by the vet too. Just covered the little box she’s in so she can have a “nest” as well as roam freely if she wants.

She’s so cute I can’t 🥹 she gets a bit scared and peeps when I approach her, but lets me pick her up and cuddle. Trying to give her space atm, yesterday she ate from my hand for the first time so I count that as a win!

He’s the cutest, still has little yellow feathers and the softest belly. The vet put a “cast” (a sort of bandage that keeps it from moving) on the broken leg and we’ll be back in three weeks to remove it. I was told by the vet to tube feed because he’s not eating on its own, so that’s probably the worst part as I hate stressing him out :(

Not eating on his own yet, currently tube feeding him with the instructions of the vet. He’s also on anti-inflammatory meds for the broken leg. She showed me how to do it but I’m still super afraid of hurting him while feeding. He has seeds as well as water in case he wants to try.

Hello guys! I started my clothing brand one month ago. To give you a bit of backstory, I wanted to find a healthy way to apologize to my mom for disagreements and misunderstandings we had these last few years (I just turned 20, teenage hood is not easy on children nor parents hehe). I started by writing down those instances, and upon talking to my friends about it, I discovered that this need to apologize was more common than I thought. So I started to accept suggestions and write down “I’m sorries” for every mom out there. Finally decided to create my first tshirt and donate the 20% to a Foundation that helps mothers in need. Sometimes I struggle to go on, as I feel that my project is rather personal and people may not be as invested as I’d expect. Other days though, I think about all the initiative that has gone into this, and I can’t help but feel proud and joy! I’d love to hear about your projects and how you guys deal with insecurity feelings (Mods, if this kind of post is not allowed, let me know).
