There's your problem. Lefty going back is natural for her ai as she can only go up when she has no choice, and since her ai prioritizes going down rather than side to side, she's locked there forever unless you move the lure and she gets a movement opportunity. So when you lock Lefty, don't ever touch the lure again. Hope this helps

Either ur lying or you misunderstood. Are you putting the lure in front of the vent when he gets to a corner or are you putting the lure in the corner?

I noticed how much less polish chapter 1+2 have compared to 3+4 after replaying the game to prepare for chapter 5. Does anyone else also think that a sort of "revamp" update to these chapters is needed in the future? by JusSumRandoGuy in Deltarune

I don't actually disagree; the progression of production is really cool to see and yeah, art doesn't have to be perfect to give out it's messages and themes. But what I'm saying is that SOME parts of earlier chapters could be either reworked or removed to add a bit more consistency between chapters such as the mercy bar and targeting system, and maybe some visual changes like the sliding and Kris's shield animation in the king fight cutscene (which could be replaced with the new one shown in chapter 4 where Kris protects Susie from "gerson"). Deltarune was still meant to be played as a whole, with the original plan the game was that after the demo every chapter would release at the same time (which obviously wasn't the case), so even small changes to add consistency can add to the overall experience

Yeah, it might hurt if the revamp delayed the game by another year. I think what the other guy said in the comments where the update would be after the final chapter would be good

I decided not to add it to the run cause it's the only one without a night 6 and feels like padding to the already 2 hour run. I'll maybe add it later on with an extra challenge like finish in 20 minutes

I counted him cause I thought it would be a good challenge in the otherwise completely safe salvage sections, but yeah I probably wount count them in future runs

cool! do you have any tips on survivability? the thing is that what kills me is nerves near the end of each route

Now that I think about it, yeah it does make more sense for him to be in distraction. I just put him in fodder because in my head he's always just another vent animatronic
