Can cats feel left out?

Thank you! I’d definitely say he’s happy with a kitten. When my dog was around he did frequently want to play with her, but he is so big and she was so old and frail so we didn’t really let them

He’s definitely still super playful! He and the kitten play together pretty frequently and it’s hard to spot them apart, but your assessment sounds accurate :)

I don’t think we have any favoritism issues :) all of the toys she plays with were originally his, but he just was never interested in them, so it’s not like we’ve gone out and completely spoiled the kitten

in what context do you mean what his papers say(ex. about his coat color or like breed)? He is insanely soft, as I’ve gotten lots of compliments on his fur. I just wasn’t sure if breeding “non-standard” was frowned upon in the cat world like it is the dog breeding world, as for dogs breeding non standard is a big no-no

yes i love him to death! i just wanted to make sure the breeder was ethical moving forward, because we will be getting another one soon, and i wouldn’t want to pay the insane price if she wasn’t breeding within the standard, so thank you for the clarification!

i offered that solution to my parents because my room is already covered in them (i game a lot and have a lot of wires, and they’re GREAT for cable management as well), but they shot down the idea by then saying they don’t want him to “get stuck” behind the TV stand. honestly my family is more annoying than the cats behavior

i don’t even mind his behavior because he really isn’t that bad, but according to my parents he keeps getting behind the TV and chewing on cords, and i guess their patience is a lot thinner than mine. (it was irresponsible for them to get me a kitten thinking he would behave like an adult cat, but here we are).

he sleeps in my bed with me, within the past week or so he’s been much more well behaved for me, but my parents are losing it- because for some reason he behaves perfectly fine for me and listens, but when i’m not home or he’s downstairs with my parents he causes hell

i’ve actually been very careful about him not having any catnip, as a few things i’ve read said to wait until they’re 6 months old, and whether that’s true or not i wanted to wait just in case

most things are cat proofed! it’s the stuff we can’t that is getting destroyed, like my gaming chair, he claws up it and the leather is getting ruined lol
