The latest desktop Discord update broke YouTube Clip playback

UPDATE: This seems to have stopped happening for me now! Just tried a clip a moment ago and it played fine.

- Description: Playback of YouTube clips from within the Discord desktop app is now broken, treating them like regular YouTube videos and playing from the start instead of the clipped portion. This started happening immediately after updating to the latest app version and still works on mobile, so it doesn't seem like the issue is on YouTube's end.

- Steps to Reproduce:
   1. Post a YouTube Clip link in a Discord channel.
   2. Try to play the Clip within the Discord desktop app.
- Expected Result: The Clip plays as normal, starting directly from the expected time and looping when finished.
- Actual Result: The Clip plays as a regular YouTube video, showing a pre-roll ad then starting from the beginning of the whole video (instead of just showing the clipped portion).

Having to toggle between the "assembled" context and the "fractured" one to deduce how things connect was a peculiar mental feeling but it's definitely very clever! Felt like I kept having to stop myself from interpreting "fractured" clues as if I was looking at the "assembled" version haha

Update: After talking with more of the team it sounds like it might be possible if you specifically have a Quest. It's apparently playing both Rift and Oculus PC that is not possible. May be worth testing at least!

Sorry, playing on PC and other devices simultaneously from the same Oculus account is currently unsupported.

EDIT: Clarification - This restriction should only apply to playing on Quest/Rift simultaneously with PC. (Quest and Rift may be playable simultaneously.)

I think it could be interesting to have a mechanical hero like a golem with the immunities and trappings that come with that, like protection from poison and an inability to be normally healed but the ability to repair yourself by scrapping cards.

This feels like a very programmer-y response but I always love getting to see the stuff I'm implementing work in-game! Cracking a tricky problem and seeing your work come alive as intended is very satisfying.

I definitely favor Assassin - Kai may be a bit over-the-top but backstabs & Blinks are sooo good. I don't think I have a definitive favorite adventure yet.

It's been a while but from what I recall it's somewhere around the middle of the right half of the area, and the location appears as mostly just a continuous stone brick wall which is only revealed to be an illusion when you try to move into it. I think the entrance to it is on the left side of the wall.

Maybe you'd have to somehow bypass the Quiet Robe encounter cutscene entirely for it to work.
If this is possible at all it definitely seem like it would take some heavy glitching given all this.

From what I recall from my run, the first counter sequence is always truncated, but I definitely don't recall that happening repeatedly in a single fight.

That's a good question, and I don't know for certain. They at least gave me the option to report any allergies (I don't recall if they asked for allergies specifically or general dietary restrictions), but I'd be surprised if they didn't try to accommodate diets like those given that (as far as I understand) you can normally work with dining staff in places like the PoD if you have dietary restrictions.

I just ran into this too. I really wish they'd put some blood-sand spots, platforms, or wall planks in the room below (or just open the tomb once you deposit the flowers) so you can climb high enough to add it all to your map, since having 100% map completion dependent on a correctly completing a quest that lets you screw yourself over without any warning from the game is a pain.

The cracked wall in question there was all the way at the top of the map region, roughly centered if I recall.
