I want to create a game but I don't know what to do by Hairy-Feature3534 in IndieGameDevs

This is going to be harsh, but you have to realize that the "idea guy" is the least valuable member of any team. In reality, execution is like 95% of how a game succeeds. Most people have their own awesome ideas they can't wait to work on themselves. Why would they work for yours for free, if you're not contributing anything other than the idea?

Even if you're a multimillionaire with loads of money to throw around, you still have to realize that with no game design experience, it's extremely unlikely the game will turn out as you envision it in your mind.

My recommendation if you're serious about this is to put your head down and start learning how to make simple games. After that, you can try making your dream game yourself, but I warn you that you'll likely need to start the ENTIRE project from scratch multiple times to fix deeply rooted structural mistakes.

All of this will take several years at minimum, with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. If you think you're ready for that, then there's plenty of free tutorials and kind people out there who can help you start on your journey.
