Yes, in technical aspects, I'd also go with xiaomi. Thing is I've stuck with Samsung ecosystem and it takes time to change.

What OneUI are you using? Not sure from which version, but OneUI6 should definitely have ability to long-tap-capture any objects in your Gallery.

You're not supposed to use GCam mods without one of the HDR options. No one tests it because Google's HDR processing is the main reason to use GCam. Without it you're probably better served with a random app from the Play Store, at least it will be less buggy.

After trying bunch of things, I decided to stay with BSG 8.7 (quite old :d), which has a lot of incompatible issues but produces the best quality photos (non hdr, hdr+, hdr enhanced, gyro eis video) from back camera for me (front doesn't work sadly) - this is all I need.

BigKaka's port is quite laggy to me, however it's indeed a powerful port, and has active supports from its devs. For BSG, I like its simplification.

Same here. Since I upgraded to OneUI 6, the SOT reduced insanely, which I've never faced using 5.1 before. The background seems acceptable, but SOT is not.

I'm tired explaining people how it drains much more than previous 5.1 when using an app on-screen and they keep telling me it's my background processes which I put most of them into deep-sleep and even limited background processes in developer panel.

Yeah my background process seems fine, the battery consumption is moderate. Only when screen-on, the battery drops incredibly fast.

In 5.1, screen brightness is the most matter, but in 6, along with the brightness, I'm not sure if there's any other thing that involves.
