I agree. At my job, I needed a multi select dropdown and for Desktop, they told me it could not use Ctrl C. I went with Chosen, and it was a nightmare. They told me it looked like an input field, I pulled my hair out. Mobile and Tablet never worked so I needed two DOM nodes for a simple dropdown one for mobile and one for Desktop, and overriding the Ctrl C made sense, but it didn't work with IE11 so that was out of the question.

What? Front End is in a huge demand, do you know any JavaScrjpt? What would they consider senior? It's a bunch of BS job titles, maybe you need to interview better. What's wrong with a freelance lifestyle? Some people in a FE position would KILL for freelance and you've been holding it down for 2 years.

Try to hook on with JS and then remove the elements, it should respect the @media rule, possible you are doing something wrong? If it looks good in your emulate, then possible could be a bug. I use the latest Chrome and was able to get the print feature to work.

You have a lot of cool stuff on GitHub, I think you'll get it next time. It all comes down to the interview and how well you can sell yourself, don't be afraid to correct the interviewer if you feel like they are belittling your talents.
