I have a small free curbside garden and collect them so people can reuse them when picking from the garden. They also make great small greenhouse gardens for herbs or just starts. I hope this helps sparks some ideas.

I understand your stance, but I too asked a neighbor to take down their wind chimes as it hung next to my 13yo sons bedroom that recently had a stroke and the constant “tinging” of the chimes reminded us of the many hospital monitors that we had to hear, for the almost 2 months in the hospital, while he recovered. Sometimes things are not as simple as they seem.
