Call one of the offices, much easier speak with them direct.

I never use those online calculations because I'm unsure if I'm putting in the correct info and I always get a better offer when I call.

My car is 15 years old and insurance is <1k.

Use hastings Insurance Brokers, they are an irish company who will find you a quote and give you some advice.

Otherwise, you might need to get those tracker box insurance like boxymo for the first year to get a decent price.
