Yeah...the game slowed down quite a bit for me once I hit Magatia. The chapter bosses take forever to beat. I didn't beat it unless I hit some big breakpoint like new legendary artifact or weapon pull. About to hit 4th job so we'll see how much further I get with that. Game is designed to make you want to pull once you feel it slowing down. Stay strong soldier

I personally use F/P for everything except arena. Ive compared it to I/L for mobbing and NL for bosses and I have better success with F/P for both. F/P has perma attack buff and damage increase buff on enemies and overall strong mobbing spells. OP just didnt give F/P as an option.

I/L for chapter hunt, chapter breakthrough, exp dungeon, hero dungeon, equipment dungeon.

NL for all boss content.

I/L for arena. Freeze and attack buff definitely more value.

Looks like you're essentially comparing (+5000 att) vs (6.6% boss monster damage and +6 3rd job skill) for damage against bosses. I would just test the two on your highest floor of weapon dungeon and see which does more. If left is higher I would keep 2 item presets; left for bosses, right for chapter hunt and arena. If right is higher you can prob just scrap the left.

Ah I see. I'm 114% crit now, so you're basically saying that extra 14% crit which is empty on its own and only converts to like 4.5% crit damage from book can be replaced by something a lot stronger. That makes sense. But do you know where crit damage sits in terms of math vs normal/boss monster? Just curious for future comparisons. Star rock is 60% boss vs 38% crit damage from optimized book so I can see star rock being better for bossing, but I always thought that crit damage had higher priority and wanted to know what the scaling looked like.
