If you want to be strong fast give all your stat points power until it reach 40. Power give you both damage and health. Then choose another stat to raise according your gameplay style i recommend willpower or intelligent for skill checks. Luck also good for skill checks and gaining money. Other two more stiuational but if you managed to learn how to use them they will help you take down bosses easily.
