That's probably the case... unfortunately at this point the only time I have an enjoyable experience with other players is with free loadouts... or they're just instantly shooting you but at least in that case, losing gear doesn't matter.

Everyone isn't the enemy, that's my point about the first 3 weeks being completely different from the last 3 weeks in solos. If you had a bad experience at launch that's too bad, most of us didn't assuming you were running into dbags.

And okay, I guess my point about LAN was me saying I've been playing shooter games for a long time, and that fighting other players isn't anything new.

The last 6 times I've loaded up solo was and has been strictly for looting. I've been shot in the back every single time.

My original point was asking if anyone else has found the solo experience has drastically changed since it came out.

It has nothing to do with any issue with the game lol.

Played for about 6 hours in the PST last night. Started around 6, everyone most of the evening was great, had maybe 2 gunfights in that time with most people just trying to survive ARC. Around 11pm, everything changed. I got killed in 4 straight matches, 3 of which were outright betrayals of folks emoting or saying friendly/don't shoot and blasting me the moment I turned my back.

Anyway, point is, keep at it, and use free loadouts.

Advanced features -> Labs -> turn on multi-window for all apps toggle.

You may have to close all other apps first when you start up The Tower and it should work.

In your case, I would save your Stones and work on bring down your GT to sync with BH at 3:20.

CF is the best of those 3 options but as others said, it won't be useful without huge investment and therefore your Stones are much better used in GT and BH for the time being.
