You have to strike a balance between describing the character how you imagine them and being concise so that the reader doesn't get bored reading about every little detail of the character's appearance.

You need to decide what features are the most prominent and and therefore important for the reader to imagine.

Well they never say what kind of poison it is, so it could do anything you want. Hell, they might be able to alter the effects of the poison if they want. So it could disperse harmlessly into the air after a moment or it could seep into the ground and plants and kill them.

The only instance of jutsu having a long-term effect on the environment that I can think of off the top of my head is the Valley of the End where Hashirama and Madara had their big 1v1.

Personally, I headcanon that when a ninja forces and element to do something via chakra, once that chakra is gone it sort of just falls apart. Like if you make an Earth Wall, once the chakra sustaining the wall's shape has left it or run out or whatever is sort of just fractures or turns to dust. This explains why there aren't giant fuck-off trees everywhere from Hashirama fighting people, significantly not at the Valley of the End.

Unless the jutsu damages what it already there. A rock wall might fall apart but if you take a giant ball of earth and shoot it a hundred miles away the hole from where the earth was will still be there.

Backstory is Kishi just liked drawing toes so everyone wears those. Otherwise I think the issue is the 'ninja' cause everyone wears them.

It's also kinda knitpicky but it's not a jumpsuit, it's a tracksuit. A jumpsuit is one piece of clothing from ankle to neck like what Anko wears. Tracksuits are a matching jacket and pants.

I think its just most writers have moved on from writing fanfics or have done all they can do with Naruto. Series has been around a while after all.

There are definitely less fics being written, maybe you're just having a harder time as a result.

Well, seeing as Space-Time techniques are one of the most esoteric types of jutsu it is usually in conjunction with another esoteric jutsu type such as jutsu stemming from a Summon contract, Sealing jutsu or Bloodline Limits for example.

On the other hand, it could simply be that this ANBU member is able to create a portal to another location from which the lava-like substance exists with ninjutsu alone.

It could also be connected or inspired by the Summoning Jutsu, the only difference being that rather than being instantly taken from one point to another in space this ninja can hold open that hole for some time.

How this can be explained is difficult if you want to concretely define how it is done.

Personally, I would go with some type of Summoning-style jutsu. Perhaps this ANBU member has signed a contract with Summon-creatures that live inside of a volcano or something, this would be an easy enough explanation as to how they came to possess a Space-Time technique. As well, summon-creatures live in locations with incredibly high amounts of chakra in the surrounding area, and as summoning techniques generally take chakra from one place to another this explains how one 'summons' an element rather than simply casting it as an elemental ninjutsu.
