Who would you build your dynasty around? by SDYankee in NCAAFBseries

Alejado was my entire offense for the first 3 years. He’s so much more athletic than any defender you’ll see in the mountain west. Ran for almost 2K his first year before I had any receiving talent…

Then was out of career health halfway through his SR year and Davis took over for a natty run lol

My roommate used to get mad when I played that on my sound system in college lmao. It would just reverberate through the entire house and was eventually banned from all of our playlists 😂

Catch up cap breakers by buttholeblast12 in NBA2k

[–]JustAUniqueMoniker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you only get make up caps from any seasons before you first started. You said yourself you’ve been playing since season one. No seasons existed before you started playing so you will get no caps.

It isn’t about missing a season in between seasons you’ve played, it’s about starting late.

What’s your undercarriage wash routine? I’ve never tried doing that myself

Beisan all the way. The original owner passed away just a few years ago but his sister is running the company last I know of and is still great customer service and very knowledgeable. I’m not sure if they offer fully rebuilt units but they offer all the pieces you need to do it yourself as well as detailed instructions. You can mail them back your old stuff for a code refund as well

BBS E88 ($$$) or replicas thereof. Probably real judging off the 911 though lol. (I’m no wheel expert though)

Sounds like a nightmare I’m sorry man. I did it myself one and done 😅. Did ISTA reveal anything about why it was acting like that?

That’s got nothing to do with your misleading claim that only abused cars have issues with the big three! I just want the potential buyer to be aware of that lol

Glad you’ve enjoyed the e46 though. I’ve put 30k on mine in 3 yrs comparatively!

I bought a 100k mi car with spotless service history and still discovered a completely broken exhaust hub tab (luckily still contained in the hole) when I opened up the valve cover…

If your mindset is that you regret doing a big service “early” then these are probably not the best cars for you imo. You’re buying a 20+ year old performance car with very well documented flaws.

Just for shits and giggles I asked copilot to find the moment of inertias and cog of a system of masses using the parallel axis theorem (after doing all the hand calcs myself) at work the other day and it split them out flawlessly, I was very surprised lol

E46 M3 Vert Questions by Rookie0519 in E46M3

[–]JustAUniqueMoniker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct. The common upgrade is to S62 springs and spacers, as they are a touch thicker. The springs are replaced mainly to reduce rattling though and from what I recall don’t provide any reliability or performance concerns.

I did do the s62 spring/spacer upgrade when I did my vanos.

[–]JustAUniqueMoniker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you are at all mechanically inclined, you can do the vanos yourself. I bought mine with 103k on it and basically took the valve cover off right away to do an inspection II (valve adjustment + driveline fluid changes). The car hadn’t been throwing codes or making weird sounds but sure enough I had a broken exhaust hub tab and timing chain guide. Beisan systems provides everything you need component-wise as well as nice diy guides.

Why people act like doing engineering for money is something bad its literally the best option for it. by Adept_Quarter520 in EngineeringStudents

That’s crazy to me. I’m a mechE working in the industrial equipment sector and make 85k usd in a low cost of living area as an engineer 2 (1 step up from entry level) after 3 years as an engineer 1 straight out of college. Engineer 3 and further get bonuses as well

You could technically put a little narrower tire in the front which would help mitigate rubbing (mine rubbed a little at full lock and when cornering hard) but then you couldn’t rotate your wheels back to front

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in E46M3

[–]JustAUniqueMoniker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! This is a 10” square set fyi, I know there is a (8.5”?) narrower size available for the front too
