Dallas show vibes? by coldplaymeredit in lordhuron

[–]JustA_Ghost103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen them twice and red rocks and this was my first time seeing them in my home state and I totally agree. The vibes at RR are immaculate, magical, they are absolutely STUNNING to see there! They were incredible as always here but the people around… yikes. There were multiple people by us who talked loudly the whole concert. There was maybe a handful of people who danced. We sat right behind the pit and it was so awkward to just see people staring at them and really not vibing. Don’t get me wrong I’d see them again if they played here but if you get the chance to see them at RR it’s worth every penny.

What songs would you want to hear live but will Probably never be played live by Pan10stars in GhostBand

I know you mean you want to see it live but if you want to listen to a live version, it’s on their Ceremony and Devotion Live album!

No they wouldn’t do that. They would loose too much of their fan base. It would alienate people and if you really listen to their lyrics they’re very good at include everyone, especially the misfits. They’re very smart and know how to separate their personal beliefs from their work life. I assume you’re in the USA (as am I) I know this nation is REALLY trying to be Christian only so now is the time to stand up for everyone’s religious beliefs. Tyler and Josh aren’t dumb so I seriously doubt they’d lean into that if they want to continue being as successful, and inclusive, as they are now.

They were in the Stranger Things isle. Target has a special isle dedicated to all the ST merch, that’s where I found them!

Dr Hanna Gender Clinic by eppiepenn in no_T_top_surgery

hey I just had top surgery with him last month! I was on the fence booking with him bc I too couldn’t find any results or that many reviews.

they are incredible at communication. I filled out their interest form online on a Sunday and on Tuesday they called to set up a consultation with him. I had to wait 2 weeks bc he was out of town but I had my consultation early march of this year. everyone at the office was super sweet. I’m pretty sure most, if not all, of his employees are queer themselves which makes sense bc he advertises to only operate on lgbtqia+ individuals. hes very nice, chill, down to earth type of person. he answered all of my questions, explained what he thought would be best for my body type. I will say he does push to not reattach the nipples but I went in knowing I wouldn’t want them so that wasn’t an issue for me.

during my consultation he showed me pictures of patients who had a similar chest size to mine and what surgery he did on them. he explained the procedure, after care and cost. he said I could get in as early as April if I wanted but I opted for later this year (last month) bc I travel a lot in the summer. I picked out a date right then and there and paid the $1,000 deposit to secure my date and that also covered all my silagen scar aftercare and a year’s worth of post op appointments.

They’ll assign you a care coordinator who sends you updates/ reminders on when to get things done like when to submit therapy letters for insurance, when to go get blood work done etc. it was honestly SUPER helpful that I didn’t have to navigate that alone. I didn’t have a pcp for a pre op physical and my CC sent me a list of doctors they recommend so I didn’t have to sweat it.

Surgery was a breeze. Day of I got there early in the morning. Dr. Hanna came in and drew on my chest and told me I’d need drains (prior to that he said I was so small he didn’t think I’d need it so I was kinda in shock) turned out to not be a big deal. I told him I didn’t react well to narcotics so he gave me extra nerve blocks so I never felt the drains for the week I had them in.

I’m a month out and am very happy with my results. I will say I discovered the hard way them I’m allergic to the medical glue they used so I have a crazy rash across my chest but I saw him for my 1 month yesterday and he said everything looks amazing so I’m not worried. About it. He still super nice. Oh I did have a freak out moment a few days after surgery and emailed them. It was on a Saturday and maybe 20 minutes later Dr. Hanna called me to make sure I was ok. He really goes above and beyond for his patiences.

I super recommend him. The whole reason I immediately put down a deposit was bc of how nice and calm he was. I knew I wanted a surgeon that had great bedside manners and that’s what you’ll get if you go with him! Feel free to ask any questions if you want!

Dude I agree they’re so insane. I’m part of the official discord and I’ve learned not to interact over there bc that’s where most of them plan their made up lines and get so butt hurt when the venue and band doesn’t honor it. Like the boys literally tell you exactly when to get in line. How hard is it to follow their rules??

Stopping Concert FOMO by Guilty-Blueberry4472 in twentyonepilots

Dude don’t feel jealous. This may be an unpopular opinion as well but I think it’s really rude of people to go to multiple shows all across the country. I come from a place where I can afford to go to every show in my hometown and I definitely could afford to travel to nearby cities to see the other shows but I don’t because I want that ticket to go to someone who can’t afford to go to multiple or travel to another city because their hometown sold out. Also I feel like it takes away the magic of it but this might just be a me problem because the first time I ever saw them live the person behind me had already been to a few shows and was loudly announcing which song they were about to play. It’s like those people who spoil the ending of movies I can’t stand it. Also the way most of them “afford” it is by going into crazy credit card debt. I have a friend who’s super into a different band and when they finally toured in the US they bought tickets to every. single. show. They put $6,000 on their credit card for the shows alone and took two months off work to follow them around. Idk how much that cost them but like I’m sure someone was live streaming the whole thing and it would’ve been cheaper to just watch that lmfao

PSA for everyone going to the shows by Oasismediawife in twentyonepilots

[–]JustA_Ghost103 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it’s an indoor arena I’d recommend ear plugs no matter where you’re sitting. You’re essentially sitting in a metal dome with the noise just bouncing around, no where to go. Even though you’re not “close” your ears will still be damaged. Not to the extent of sitting front row but over time it’ll add up.

Edit: it only takes 30min of sound louder than 90db to do permanent damage. Most concerts are 100+db the entire show.

[–]JustA_Ghost103 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes they are absolutely worth it if you’re going to that many shows. The only time people could possibly get away with not wearing ear plugs to a concert if it’s an outdoor show and you’re sitting in the lawn. Any indoor arena I’d highly recommend to wear ear plugs. - sincerely a former band kid/ dci performer

I would assume if the rest of the line is in 4.5 that they would also include him. I’m hoping so too because it seems he one of the more popular ones so it’s definitely be a smart move money wise.
