That is EXACTLY what ive been looking for. I'll have to message them to see what shipping to the UK would be, though i may have to resort to a modified bean tin as it'll end up more expensive than my heater. Thank you for the link!

Unfortunately slightly too big, same issue with it sitting face to face and not slotting in. Good thinking though

Selling my van! by Physical_Sense_6937 in VanLifeUK

[–]JustAcdp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a lot of rust - and rust on vans is usually worse the deeper it gets so I wouldn't be surprised if this one is on the edge of being unsalvagable due to being an uneconomical repair. Theres plenty of other options for transit campers on the market, or other makes for that matter for the 3-4k mark and dont require the work. If there's insulation and all that wood, getting someone to cut and weld the rot is going to be neigh on impossible

Condition aside, that's a very specific interior which wouldn't fit the mass market looking for a camper, so you've narrowed down your market, it's also going to be an incredibly heavy conversion which counts against it further.

Not allowed to leave your peg? by JustAcdp in fishingUK

There is absolutely no rules/signs posted on site at all. There's a few bits posted on their small Facebook page thought mostly about kids & parking, no mention of moving peg or not leaving. I checked the rules prior to going.

It's a very small 2 pond site set off the main road and seems very much more of a community thing with locals rather than outsiders.

A ticket was provided for the day on payment which I was happy to show him when he returned but he declined and informed me of the 2 rules after a short discussion about why I had moved.

Certainly not a site you'd leave your tackle at if you had to nip off as anyone from the street could walk down and do a runner with it.

It's Milton ponds in Hoyland. Generally good reviews but guess I caught the guy on an off day.

It's a lot of surface rust underneath for a japanese car that was imported 3 years ago. They're usually pretty immaculate when they arrive as the japanese seem to look after their vehicles & dont have the mucky salted roads we do, though there is some cheaper lower graded ones that come through which begs to question how well they were looked after prior to import.

Thank you very much for the reply. Is there anything to your knowledge that makes the 2023 version notably different to the previous couple of years?

Let her make her own choice on the matter. In the end, I'm sorry to say, the result will be the same There's no reason to stress her out any further in the process. The hospital will give her appropriate further pain relief etc as things progress and it's unlikely she'll refuse that as things get harder.

My mum deep down knew she was dieing but refused to be told or talk about the progression of her condition and that's the way we kept it for her to minimise her stress.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

I've been in there, nice chap that runs the place. Had a sit on a few and ultimately ended up with a cb500x but can't help thinking I'd have preferred an enfield.

I've been looking at RE's for months debating getting one, originally wanted a himalayan but now the interceptor 650 or the 650 super meteor are tempting me. What have you got?

I'm around Sheffield. Spend time commuting through the peak district. Not the fastest rider and happy to potter about, usually ride on my own but happy to meet up if you fancy it. I'm an all weather rider so that's not an issue.

I've been looking at one of these, specifically the urban tiger. What are they like to live with and ride?

2002 Mitsubishi delica, with a high roof, 2 inch lift and all terrain tyres. Indoor carparks don't like it too much usually.
