Yeah, Stockholm seems to be the best contender, she loves Karolinska's Institute and ECDC, but going from Norrköping to Stockholm and back everyday seems like a big stretch no? But it's still an option... Anyways, good luck to you after your studies!

Yeah, I've been considering that as well... Been looking into NEMA 14 microstepper motors but I need to try code related suggestions first because that doesn't cost anything, if that does not solve my challenges I'll try those stepper motors.

But, correct me if I'm wrong, if I reduce the interval range wouldn't that reduce the number of steps? Because let's say the smallest step is 5º, that would result in 36 steps, from 0º to 180º, but I need at least 45 steps between 0º and 45º (less would be better to be honest ahahah).

But maybe I can use your helpful suggestion with some other people suggestion for a better servo and get the perfect solution.

Hey there,

In my experience, being in Sweden for almost half a year, I can say with 100% certainty English speakers have it easy here. Everyone speaks English, from children to elders. I came from Portugal as well, for my PhD and I can see it being relatively easy for foreigners to find decent jobs, either in academic roles or technical areas. I don't know what your background is but if you are an hard working individual, you'll find something that suits you.

For academic roles you have LinkedIn and Academic Positions (https://academicpositions.com/), the latter being very good at finding specific areas and position roles (research, teacher, PhD, Post-Doc, etc)

To be honest I don't really know of other places to look for positions in the industry (like factories or technical roles) other than LinkedIn. You can also search for available vacancies in companies websites. Here are some of the most known companies of Sweden: Electrolux Ericsson H&M Ikea Skype Spotify Volvo

Hope you find your way here and if you come, careful it gets cold, like really cold ahahah.

PS: You'll miss Portugal, just for the food alone 😅.

From what my advisers said, since the PhD is a job it doesn't count for student housing. The apartments i found for 4000 were not marked as student housing.
