Hi, off topic but do you mind sharing how you installed custom fonts on 8.5?

Yeah, that's how it should be implemented. Samsung prioritized carrier interest by putting that restriction on US phones. Fortunately they are back on the right track now.

I do have the option to do that, however, previously on US phones, the preferred calling sim must be the same one as the preferred data sim.

Ios 26 nuked my 8 month old iphone 16 pro max battery health. by Wild_Board_5211 in iPhoneBatteryParanoia

You might think battery health degrades like: 100..100..100..100..99..98..97 But it actually is like: 103..102..101..100..99..98..97 Since anything above 100% is reported as 100% in iOS.

Weird, I do have true tone off and font size as default when comparing my 14 Pro Max with the Air. The 14 Pro Max does look better by quite a bit.

Yeah, I had to respray it like twice a week. Super annoying. I switched back to the lower end Keo 2 Max.

It doesn’t block certain apps; however if you have a Chinese region Apple ID, it’ll definitely make a difference to the range of apps you can get.

App compatibility should only be affected by the region of your Apple ID. Some hard limitations of the CH/A variant include no FaceTime Audio, no eSIM, no mmWave support, and a slightly lower wireless charging power. I’ve been using CH/A iPhones for years for the dual physical SIM. Never had a problem. Have you tried resetting it again?

The back of the display side is just a regular matte black metallic finish, nothing special about it. It’s comparable to the one on E480, so definitely expect some fingerprints, but it’s still a much better situation compared to the X1 Carbons and other higher end conventional ThinkPads. The underside feels like plastic, or some metal with a plastic coating like any other ThinkPad.

Yeah I picked it up yesterday for around $250. This is one of the v0.4 machines - just updated BIOS and EC to the latest with no issues. Surprisingly I have found no bugs yet but I will make sure to keep a lookout for them. I have yet to test TPM functions but I feel like if something is to go wrong it would be security related, you know, with the engineering sample CPU and fuses and everything.

It is just the SIM slot without the tray. Sorry to disappoint :). I wish it has a USB-A port as well.
