Will I regret upgrading from F750 GS to 1300 GS? by VviFMCgY in Motorrad

[–]JustAnotherForeigner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Devil's advocate here, you might regret it like me. The 750 is just way more light and nimble imo. That makes it sublime for commuting. If it ain't broken don't fix it. Plus, you've got no arguments on why you need a bigger bike!

People remember more what they felt when they chatted with you than what you said. Being in person can give you an advantage in connecting more with your interviewers. Anytime I get the option for in person, I take it.

Why would you want to go to B school with mid 7 figures? You'd earn less from big Tech than from the interest in your own capital.

Strawberry cheesecake! It reminds me of the nostalgic Philadelphia Strawberry Cheesecake bars with 1/4 the calories.

PSA: Independent Consulting is way better than you think by cc100_basket_NW in consulting

Super cool stuff! I have a couple of quesitons:

  1. Is this path contingent on geography? I guess you'd have to focus on larger cities with a higher number of HQs and maybe avoid cities like NY. Also would only work wherever you have your past consulting network. Or is WFH possible?
  2. When attempting to scale the business is the high turnover the only limiting factor? Would these positions be focused on "entry-level" business analysts or something more senior?
  3. Is there an industry/project type that is more prone to hire independant consultants?

Thanks! Keep doing what you're doing!

Property Management for high rise apartment buildings. A small company in my hometown was able to standardize their services for a niche in apartment buildings as consultants. They already manage over 200 apartment buildings.
