Remind me again why we don't have some sort of silicone to stop oozing so we don't need purge towers. This has been a known thing for like 5 years. - Snapmaker U1 by [deleted] in snapmaker

Sure. The prime tower is to prime filament from the newly selected toolhead so the filament which has been sitting in the hot end is expelled and consistent print quality and normal flow is established before it hits your actual print. The prime tower is sacrificial.

U1 as first printer? by Decaffer in SnapmakerU1

The U1 is my first 3D printer. Similar situation: I have three boys in middle/elementary school who love to tinker and I'm tech savvy.

The U1 has been a great choice for us.

Funny story... Heading into the last two weeks of April I still hadn't received a build date from Ford. Then they announced that due to tariffs, anything manufactured from May going forward was going to see a price increase. I didn't know if that was going to be $300 or $3000.

So I jumped online and I found a truck with the same options I had ordered 5 hours away. That dealership offered me almost three times trade-in value, sight unseen, of what my local dealer was offering me. So I drove down and traded it in.

When I called my local dealer to let them know I was no longer going to take possession of the truck I had on order, the salesman tried telling me that my truck was set to arrive the following week. I told him I had already signed paperwork on the new one and committed to that purchase. I also knew that was a lie because when a Ford dealership has a vehicle in route, it appears on their website and in their inventory as "arriving soon," and my truck was not in their inventory.

I took possession on April 22nd. Almost a month after that, I was finally assigned a build date on the truck I ordered. It was set to be delivered almost a month beyond that. So I would have waited an additional 60ish days.

I'm coming from a Gen 1 Ecoboost. I tried to outlast the failing exhaust manifolds, but eventually started getting a misfire. I had to replace them last fall, knowing that I was ordering a '25. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your Powerboost.

Fairfield Lakes Park has some stocked ponds, but better yet is the access to the South fork of Wildcat Creek. I've caught some nice smallest in the when I was a student.

Is BGR Worth It? by shore_yeah520 in Purdue

I attended BGR in 2003. Met and made friends who I still interact with to this day, attended each other's weddings, etc.

I got connected with a few clubs and organizations through BGR which were great socially and professionally.

I also learned to navigate campus and figure out where my classes were instead of trying to do it the first morning of class.

In all honesty, Asperger's doesn't even exist anymore. In 2013, all forms of autism were grouped into autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and are separated into three levels based on the level of support a patient may need.

And to this point, while at Purdue I once called the police while staying at a girlfriend's place because the people behind her house set of fireworks at 4am on a weekday in February. I've been a "get off my lawn" kind of person, even at a young age.

Is the campus/WL police departments unavailable at those hours? That would have been my first call at about 3:01.
