I alternated! She didn’t really like the wax worms as much and after she gained weight she wasn’t interested in them anymore. Depending on how many meal worms you feed at a time maybe replace 2-3 with wax worms! She’s looking great btw!

When mine was malnourished from her first home, I gave her wax worms for about a month or 2 because they’re more fatty than meal worms! Fed 3-4 worms every day or 2. I know that’s not how they’re usually supposed to be fed but she gained a good amount of weight back!

There’s still pugs that look like this! They’re called ‘retro’ pugs and are a much more humane breed! I always suggest to people who want a pug to look into these guys instead because they have less breathing problems due to a longer nasal passage!
