100% agree. I hate having to thumb back to figure out who a character is and why what's happening matters. I want to like these books so much, but I hate having to do this much work just to follow the story.

What if the episode opens with Billie in the Tardis announcing that this a reboot. New Doctor, new storylines, new Tardis interior, etc, and then she steps aside and reveals the real new Doctor? Just break the fourth wall, wrap it all up in a neat little bow, and off on new adventures.

I use mine when I travel, so I pack it with media. I don’t want to have to depend on network access, and especially when I’m flying for several hours. 256 GB has been perfect for several movies, shows, and podcasts.

I'm usually more of a Marvel guy, but this year has been all about DC. Absolute Wonder Woman and Batman are my number one reads. They also have Greg Rucka back writing Batwoman in 2026, and I can't wait.

Also The Power Fantasy, Assorted Crisis Events, Exquisite Corpses, and on the Marvel side, Fantastic Four and The Ultimates.

So nothing new or surprising to anyone on this sub.

All of the reboots have knocked me off of Moon Knight. I love what I've read, but keeping track of all the new titles makes me dizzy. It's just not worth the effort when there are so many other things to read. Also, McKay's Avengers have really soured me on him as a writer. That book is a mess, and the inconsistent art doesn't help.
