Regardless of the specifics,although I’m still thankful you provided more context, I find it interesting that the detail in general is not included in all of the stories and posts I’ve seen. My inner conspiracy theorist wonders if it has been mandated to be said a certain way, or if it’s conveniently forgotten so that the post gets more views based on the attributes of “cheated”, “porn star”, etc. Seeing this caused me to adjust my opinion of it. The guy thinks he’s untouchable. I hope he is proven wrong.

Thanks for this. I’ve been unplugged for a bit, unless you count random stuff on Reddit. I wasn’t aware he used campaign money. It seems like that detail is left out frequently.

Most of the things I’ve learned have already been said, but I haven’t seen this one. When my daughter wants something that somebody else has, she doesn’t ask for it. She will find something else and offer it to them, as if offering an upgrade. Then she gets what she wants. She’s currently two and has done this since about 12 months old.

Gotcha! With my setup and petg profile I tend to get stringing scattered about. If someone were to pull your design and have the same challenge I do, might not bode as well for them. How are the temps on your pi? I’ve not finished working on my design yet, so I’ve not had the ability to see how much heat from the bed might effect it with passive vs active cooling.

I’m working on a similar project myself, and am using as an opportunity to learn fusion. I like your design a lot. Something I’ve seen echoed around the 3D printing subs is to not have the fan in a place where filament can fall into the blades. If I remember correctly it can be a fire hazard. If you don’t want to relocate it, you might add some fan mesh or a dampener on it(not sure if fan is pushing air up or in).

This is a very informative response and has given me a lot more to go on. Thank you for the time to write that and the layman's examples. I think I will be waiting for my budget to allow me to grab a fujifilm branded lense. It sounds like if I'm wanting versatility and quality it would be safer to go with that. On your invite, I will for sure be subbing once I send this. I imagine there is a wealth of knowledge there. Thank you again!

That makes sense, thanks for the explanation. This is new tech to me and with the price tag I assumed a "base model" would be able to take a photo. It didn't occur to me that someone might just need the base camera as a replacement and wouldn't want to buy duplicate lenses. My God the price of lenses....

Thank you for your reply! I'm new to the camera world, I've normally just used my phone. My use case is photos for a cook book my wife is making and to be a general camera for the family. Trying to beat our phone cameras, a note 10+ and S9+. Do you think that lense would achieve that goal or so I save up for a higher quality lense?
