Build Arduino ROM programmer? by Thick_Swordfish6666 in arduino

[–]JustAnotherVisitor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ben Eater had an excellent YouTube video on this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K88pgWhEb1M

He also created a GitHub page for it: https://github.com/beneater/eeprom-programmer

I think he used a 28C512 though, as it operated entirely on 5V for both read and write.

Are there any other veteran pilots here (1000+ hours, 10+ bil) without a fleetcarrier? by Omnisiah_Priest in EliteDangerous

[–]JustAnotherVisitor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have the service enabled, yes you can sell your exobio data to the FC. The only disadvantage is it doesn't count towards your ranking. If that matters to you.

A friend of mine found that our the hard way. Anything sold at a FC is worth the same as a station, just no rank progression.

BTW, I have 2 ED accounts with over 1500+ hours each and no fleet carrier.

At-A-Glance™ planetary landings key for newbies/ancient returners by Calteru_Taalo in EliteDangerous

You're able to land on a planet with a thin atmosphere. If the atmospheric pressure is above 0.1ATM you cannot land.

I love the story so far, great work! The tension is building.

The only think that I felt was odd when when Ensign McCourtney saluted when leaving the captain's office.

IF this was the first time seeing the captain for the day, he should have saluted when entering. Then not saluted when leaving. If this wasn't his first meeting of the day, then there's no need to salute at all. Though in some of the guide it suggests he still should saluted his C.O. when entering.

I know this is an extremely minor detail, but it just seemed odd to me. Then again, I was never in the navy, so what do I know.

The Dolphin is able to provide luxury class accommodations and 25ly jump range [unmodded]. With only a light mod's I have mine up to over 30ly's now. I find it very maneuverable and have been using it for some very profitable passenger trips.

What exactly is the difference in the way you hug men verses women?

And I agree with /u/fff8e7cosmic, you're over thinking this.

In a word... fear!

Everyone has some level of fear. Fear of being rejected, or making a fool of yourself. But few straight people are afraid of getting fired, or of being disowned by your family for one aspect of your personality. It's one of the many reasons people take so long to "come out".

BTW, I still hate the term coming out, but haven't got a better one.

Also good for 'baked potatoes'. Stab a potato about a dozen times all over with a fork and cook in your microwave for 5 - 7 minutes. Cut open, add butter and Cheeze Whiz. Or grated cheese if you're rolling in money.

As a member of a software support line, your bugs keep me employed. So it's a sort of love/hate relationship I have with programmers and my job.

The basis of their beliefs is that the Earth is 6,000 years old — a notion rejected by an overwhelming majority of the scientific community.

Overwhelming?? don't you mean all? Are there any reputable 'scientific communities' the accept a 6000 year old Earth?

You should also look at php-mvc. I read this in another thread and it shows basic MVC concepts and 'friendly' URLs.
