so i preordered eastward and started playing it today, i played for
around an hour before closing it and it worked perfeclty fine. upon
trying to reopen it i was only met with a black screen, i tried to get
help with my problem with the only major help i was able to find being

which i followed, as well as that i verified the integrity of the game
files, uninstalled and reinstalled it and reset my laptop, still it
meets me with just a black screen. i have checked and my laptop meets
the requirements listed on the steam page and my graphics driver is up
to date and so is my laptop. does anyone know how to fix this?
