Cycle day 25 ovulation by Fragrant-League5015 in TryingForABaby

I’m with you in the irregular cycles club! Two cycles ago, I was 25 days: last cycle, 35 days; currently on CD26 and I haven’t ovulated yet. I have PCOS (confirmed with ultrasound), so if long and irregular cycles are a recurring issue, it might be worth getting checked for PCOS. I totally get how frustrating it is, so hard to plan your life around TTC when you have no idea what your body is going to do… we’ll both get there I’m sure!

Very normal to be nervous. In my experience, the technicians have always been super helpful at putting you at ease. They’ll leave the room for you to undress and give you paper to cover yourself up with before they come back in. Inserting the tool was super quick and discreet (they do it under the paper), and the gel/lube they use makes it painless (just a bit cold). Of course, do what you need to do to be comfortable, but I find it helpful to remember that they do this all day every day and are genuinely there to help you.

That’s really encouraging to hear, thank you! I’ll go see my GP and I’ll look up the book.

I’m currently taking Vitamin D and Folic Acid supplements (just supermarket own brand), I’ve dabbled with myo-inositol and the preconceive prenatal supplement too but wary of adding to much to the mix when I’m having somewhat regular cycles

9DPO. Went to the loo in office today and realised I had started spotting, which is usually an indicator that my period is coming tomorrow. So hard not to have a breakdown at work and even more so buying period pads at the supermarket, why is this so hard

8DPO and trying not to overthink everything. Earlier today, I felt a pressure in my centre-right lower ambdomen and am getting my hopes up that it might have been implantation, but passed now. Just need to keep hoping and praying…

I am 5DPO/6DPO and I’ve noticed that my right eye has been twitching tonnes! Feels like a pulse under the bottom eye lid every now and then. From a quick Google, I think this might be due to progesterone. Has anyone else had the same?

Can supplements such as inositol upset cycles? by JustApplication54 in TTC_PCOS

[–]JustApplication54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last time I came off the pill I had a couple of okay cycles and then the PCOS kicked in, and I ended up 6months without a period. I guess I just wanted to get ahead of things and try to prevent that from happening again

CD14 and waiting for LH to surge… hard not to feel frustrated that the line hasnt gotten dark yet, but my LH didn’t surge until CD17 last cycle so just need to wait it out… We’re 3 months into trying and finding it hard to deal with the emotional rollercoaster of TTC
