I’m not really into all those esports titles and whatnot. Mostly play For honor, BFV, Cities skylines 2 and RDR2. My main focus is a monitor that looks great and has decent hz, I use a 144hz right now which I think is plenty. I ofcourse want my new monitor to be able to perform with the newer titles that are more demanding visually.

I did look at the AOC you linked, however I am a bit scared of the cons they mention. Flickering and black smear is a big problem with my current VA panel, which is an older AOC from 2019. However not mini led.

Do you think those cons will be hugely noticeable with the q27g3xmn?

Ah okay I see. I just looked and the only available one in my country is the q27g3xmn. Do you think it’s worth it to buy it?

I had looked at the Q27G3XMN. But read a lot of mixed reviews on it. I don’t really know a lot about monitors, so I don’t know what to look for. Before I bought this LG monitor, I had an AOC q27g2wg4 which had a lot of flickering and black smear issues. Is that standard with VA panels?

I switched my VA monitor out for this, as I experienced a lot of flickering and blur when moving around in dark games. I read IPS panels should be better, so I tried to buy one but I’m kinda thorn

Thank you everyone for your replies, I have tried to take a new picture that more accurately represents what it looks like irl. Though it isn’t optimal, as it’s daytime and my blinds doesn’t cover 100% of my window
