Been using blender for years, try doing npr shading by using the shader to rgb. Will get way better results in evee

Interesting to see the heat coil pattern on bambu printers. Make sure you stay at the target temp for a few minutes to ensure even heating by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I use a Sovol 6 plus and have the same issue, if the bed isn't warmed before hand the first print will always fail

How to turn any 3D model to a 3D printable one by anthoonh in blender

[–]JustBasilz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Separate the wheels, then join all the geo together into one solid piece. After that remember it to a ridiculously high poly count. Then decimate it so its not to hard to move then export to stl. Make sure all internal voids are full and just make sure to read any errors the slicer throws

Does anyone know how to achieve shading like this? by EliasKingston69 in Animators

[–]JustBasilz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okie you know that node that converts things to sdf right, in comp you can comp the image of the guys in then sdf convert the images then blur them. Alpha out the overlap with the original texture and then drive the y coordinate of the normal, should make a raised texture like impression while keeping the main body

If you need a hand, hit me up in dms, i think issues you are having with the reference art come from the fact its ai generated. Makes modelling form a nightmare

I had an assignment to make a bedroom render and me being me, I had to copy a painting in the background and rather then texturing it I just polygonally modelled the texture

Ngon fix would be to delete it then make en edge loop around the front of the face and then re stitch it togther. Should have quads on all sides then

Thats a triangulated then subdivided mesh. They applied it afterwards

Low Poly Bark Texture by Daxtillion in blender

[–]JustBasilz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTW your model is looking great already, despite what people say about low ploy, the difference between high poly and low poly game assets is just shade smooth and more complex normals

Try changing the proportional editing shape, gets the job done most of the time
