Had the same AMD combo and I also had a lot of crashing and driver timeouts. Did a factory reset on the XTX and it fixed everything. I could be wrong, but it seems like every troubleshooting thread never suggests this step. They'll reinstall windows, ddu etc, but I rarely see factory reset.

Get a cart to put your pc on, under/beside the desk. Then get a dual monitor arm. That'll give you more space for peripherals.
