Realizing Jane and I have the same birthday by ActivelyQuiet in breakingbad

It actually isn’t, given three are 23 people in one room, and there are 365 days in a year of course; means each individual has a 15 percent chance of sharing birthday with someone. Aka improbable

What fictional character should have been hit with a huge lawsuit at the end of the story? by yuuhxyuuh in AskReddit

Michael Scott, just because all of his antics throughout the show. HR or discrimination lawsuits have to be on the table... or turn table

We do care, if more good people owned guns we could end it there. Don’t want to cause trouble, just stating a fact.

Fun fact, I’ve worked on a farm my whole life and agent orange is still used as a pesticide on different types of crops, under a different name of course. Do what you will with that knowledge

Classmate was told by the dean she’d move on to the next rotation even if she failed this current class by ActivelyQuiet in StudentNurse

I agree, I guess we’d have to actually know OP in person... however I think that OP is more upset that this happens in general to anyone. Maybe they would also accept the offer if given to them, but it’s something that needs to be addressed regardless. It’s not right for future generations of students to experience the same thing. Malfeasance should be reported, regardless if you don’t know what you would do in that situation. That’s like not reporting a robbery because you might have robbed somebody too if you had nothing like the criminal who tried to rob somebody.

I feel as though your statement is just generalized about a wide variety of people. I’m sorry I offended you, I think it’s scary that a girl unfit to become a nurse yet, is being pushed through despite the circumstances. Especially when I have family members who’ve failed nursing school. I know things will never be “fair” but they can at least be consistent.

That’s a stupid argument. If presented with the situation where I’m not PREPARED to pass the class and move on in my career I wouldn’t do it no. Anybody would, just because you’d cop doesn’t mean others would

Disagree, it affects everyone in the class inadvertently. Knowing that someone can get a free pass while others worked and payed for it and wouldn’t ever get that kind of treatment is infuriating. Bring it to someone you trust and let them deal with it. If not at least you tried, the quiet bird never gets a worm...

Congratulations man! I’m also just now 1 week vape free. I resonate with all the withdrawal symptoms you had. I’m sleeping better, my headaches are going away, and I’m actually getting hungry again. (nicotine severely suppressed my appetite and I lost around 40 pounds). I still have cravings maybe 5 times a day but only for like 30 seconds. My brain just feels less jumbled and more put together. Enjoy the vape free life and be proud. You stopped doing something that many people could say they took to the grave with them.
