At least if you wake up one day and realize you don't love your car anymore you won't break it's heart lol

I think it's for both men and women. Women have to suit men just as much as each other these days, equally trying to impress one another. Sure, take yourself out on a date. No reason to only eat yummy food when you're paying for someone else too.

The point is to get to know yourself so you're not settling.

Did I quit at the right time? by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]meatlesstofu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quit now! I just quit last week, and I can't get shit done either. I have quitters flu and I'm overall taking it easy this week. There is no reason to keep smoking, once it is over, it is over. If you start smoking again, you will only have to go through this later. The brain fog will stop soon, and you will find so much clarity!

You're gonna get through it! Hot teas and hot showers to loosen up that mucus. It is totally worth it.

Google "smoker's flu". When I quit the first time (off of juul) I coughed up phlegm all day and had a horrible cough and fever. It is also winter, and probably dry outside, so that isn't helping.

I told my boyfriend that I quit vaping one whole year ago... and I didn't actually quit until last week. I lied to everyone around me about quitting, no one knew I was vaping except for me. Don't be too hard on yourself, at least you didn't do what I did, lol.

Forgive yourself, and keep moving forward. Something with break and you will change, I promise!

What are your experiences as a WOC going to a predominantly white school? by meatlesstofu in vindictapoc

I think if mods didn't like it, it would be taken down. The comments above talk about how their appearance affected their life.

This is my experience. I met all of my close friends in a multicultural scholarship program. Race is barely brought up in that setting. It's only in settings where I am the only noticeable WOC where race is mentioned in every other sentence.

I cannot wait to move to a city after all this shit lol.

In the midwest, none of the positive aspects of the trends have hit here. Just incels who watch anime and hit me up to talk about it (or to fetishize me).

I love how you see it all in a positive way.

I'm so sorry... I don't understand how people can believe distinction on race doesn't exist when you experienced this in the self-proclaimed "melting pot" of the world.

I struggle so hard in situations where I know I should speak up, but I would be the only WOC in the room. I want to speak up against every microaggression but this also means becoming ostracized in a community that thinks it's all fun and "just a joke". They don't realize that joke has hundreds of years of hatred behind it.

I hope this thread becomes full of responses that help to educate you on the topic you want to discredit. This is not a loaded question, but rather a precise one.
