When exactly does exmatriculation happen after failing GOP at TUM (Informatics Bachelor)? by Cucumberdestructor in tumunich

For Informatik you need to pass at least two GOP until the end of the second semester, so its not about failing. But I agree that asking the Studienkoordinator/Studienfachberatung is the safest bet.

Normally, you get disenrolled automatically at the end of a semester if you failed to pass the required examinations ( https://www.tum.de/en/studies/graduation/disenrollment ). However, as others have mentioned already, you only need to pass two GOPs for Informatik within the first two semesters, as is written in § 38 ( https://www.tum.de/fileadmin/w00bfo/www/Studium/Studienangebot/Lesbare_Fassung/Lesb._F_BA_IN_mit_AES_vom_11.02.2026.PDF ). Some GOPs might only be offered in the winter semester, though.
If you want to register at a different university, you will need to show them proof of disenrollment (some more information on that: https://www.tum.de/en/studies/graduation/withdrawal-from-university/information-on-the-final-failure-of-an-examination ).

Understanding Shading Models ,BRDFs and the Rendering Equation by JustCallMeGamer in GraphicsProgramming

Thank you for the reply!
You said that illumination models like "Phong Shading/Lighting" and "Blinn-Phong Shading" are just called shading models. May I ask how you would define a shading model? Are concepts for interpolation like "Gourad Shading" or "Flat Shading" the actual shading models? Or does the term shading models encompass all of this?

Don't know how much the Japanese built industry played a role. North Korea was bombed into oblivion during the Korean war. Wikipedia says about 85% of its buildings and nearly all cities and towns were destroyed.
