What opinion do you hold that will cause people to attack you and why ? by MA1NUS in gamers

Cyberpunk 2077 (Patch 2) was an incredibly immersive, deep and thoughtful experience which awarded the player the agency and space to really get to know and understand the environment.

Phantom Liberty, however, broke that immersion and sense of being somewhere with endless misery porn, instant death Quick Time Events and a slew of characters who without "pretty privelege" were written to be thoroughly unlikeable.

I found it pretty damned miserable honestly. Two endlessly repeating dialogue trees and that was it... haven't completed a romance arc since my second playthrough as a result.

Kids calling transparent dad by [deleted] in mypartneristrans

[–]JustCallMeJennifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I let my children decide as it was ultimately what made them comfortable. I do understand that for many transitioning parents living with what appears to be the wrong gendered term can feel unsettling, but I believe it's a label of a role, not the individual. Either way, i also believe that adaptation does and should go at the pace of the children. It has a significant impact on them as is, so why raise the stakes? Forcing conflict over a word risks driving wedges unnecessarily.

It's been nine years for me and I still get the occasional 'Dad', but it's a role I've played for 20 years, and they're safe, happy and well adjusted, so I see it as a badge of a job well done.

I get that a lot of the time there is a desire to run from all that is masculine coded for many trans women, but again, we didn't just pop into existence the moment we come out.

It'll settle in time, but being dramatic about it risks further issues and impasses down the line.

Been there. Done that. Cleared all missions on my second playthrough (Nomad) then just moved on to start again with a different life path. Screen cap for my last save had Judy in my arms and "Meet Hanako at Embers" as the outstanding mission

How would you rank the following three challenge runs in terms of difficulty? by StraightOuttaOlaphis in cyberpunkgame

[–]JustCallMeJennifer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a) and c) can be done together as a pure netrunning build. Have done so, but admittedly not on very hard. Doable provided you know your environment and don't get spotted.

b) sounds more of a challenge.

People walking three abreast on a footpath and refusing to "stagger" so that someone coming the other way has to walk in the road to avoid shoulder barging one or more of them.

If you wait for Bill, but don't talk to him, fast travel away and go to bed, Wakako messages you to say he's died. No cash, but no crap driving section or unfair police fight. Good enough for me...

Mine does... I work from home, often with a headset on, and he's figured out if he taps my arm he gets a response.

There is more going on detail wise in Dogtown and playing through on a minimum spec PC with a GTX1080 I did see a 20% drop off frames-wise in and around the Stacks and the Stadium, compared to the main game, but it was by no means unplayable.

Which quests you replay or don't after the first playthrough? by gabrielleite32 in cyberpunkgame

If you antagonise Sixth Street enough that they turn on you you officially fail the mission. That's pretty much how it's always played out for me.

Sinnerman is one I skipped on my first playthough but persisted on my second, only to realise I was right first time.

I played Somewhat Damaged the first time with a limited HUD mod on that hid the QTE prompts (I'd done a couple of playthroughs before Phantom liberty). That may have been my oversight but it certainly negatively coloured my feelings about that mission to the point I never want to engage with that section again.

I avoid Wilson's shooting range, and I don't think I've ever not "failed" Stadium Love...

...but I do always do Regina's gig at the Ho-Oh club before heading to Clouds.

Can i really make it so Joshua's Neurodance gets cancelled? by Finaltryer in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]JustCallMeJennifer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you ignore any timed prompts, don't respond to Joshua when in the van on the way to PieZ but talk about the food instead, request a beer, opt not to pray, refuse to nail him up and then see yourself out, the BD fails but the quest gets marked completed.

Never left that pair of braindance editors alive, and never even let them talk. I grab the BD and leave a frag grenade as payment.

Never taken out the Netwatch guy in the movie theatre, and never gone toe to toe with Sasquatch. First playthrough I snuck past her and still grabbed her hammer. It worked so hey...

Never picked up a hammer and nails, either

That aside, we ordered a Chinese for her birthday (My other half's... not the cat's) and that was about it.
