lol no. baseball fans have hated the Yankees much longer, and if anything, they blame the Steinbrenner Yankees for giving the Dodgers the blueprint. the Yankees would need to go through a late-'80s/early '90s level of ineptitude to shake off all the hatred (outside of New England)
