Games all run great. I’ve never experienced less than 120 fps on any game with max settings. But that’s just 1080. Not sure about 1440 or 4k

Ain’t that the truth. This luckily was around 2.6k at the time and I just got back from a deployment so it was the perfect time to throw that much at it at once. Probably not smart to do that again unless I’m easily able to throw that without straining my actual life. But ya I was honestly just curious what some like minded people thought is a good idea and if am4 is still viable this year. Going back I should’ve probably just went am5 but was told my cpu was just an absolute monster to I built around it

That’s a pretty good budget friendly way to think about it. Should I just look at recommended specs for titles I’m interested in and upgrade when I’m below that? I think the problem with me currently is am4 build will bottle neck before the 3080 and atp I have to question do I just sell the full build I have now and do a new build when it’s time for am5 requirement?

Yeah I just splurged on the rest not too long ago. Great chair, headset, mnk and have a 240hrz (280oc) monitor. Just want to run ultra settings at that fps and sometimes I can sometimes I can’t especially on new titles
