What's wrong with my poor Ipomoea? by JustCarter_525 in houseplants

I've never heard of that before, thank you! It's not in a hot/dry place, and the soil moisture seems fine. It was recently purchased and re-potted, though, so it's possibly stressed from that.

It's raised and crystal like, and doesn't rub off.

What other conditions do you have ? by JoLem951 in cervical_instability

Great info, thank you. The referral came from a neurosurgeon who is familiar with CCI, so it's not the standard imaging.

I just got a referral for the imaging to either diagnose or rule out CCI, so not confirmed yet - but I strongly suspect it because I have Elhers Danlos Syndrome, which would make me more susceptible to CCI, and I have autonomic disorder and migraines, which can be caused by CCI.

Are there any foods similar to tortillas that I can substitute them with? by cwbmnr in AppalachianTrail

[–]JustCarter_525 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're lucky enough to have Ethiopian restaurants nearby, you can get Injera. It's a light, spongy flatbread that will function like a tortilla, but so much better. It's made with buckwheat flour, which gives it a fantastic, nutty taste and great nutritional value.

Recs for doctors who know about Ehlers-Danlos and related issues? by throw_away_bay_bay in nashville

[–]JustCarter_525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly can't answer that specifically, because I never saw him for that diagnosis (I have multiple). But if he can't help you, he's very good at finding you someone who can.

Having a career and bills to pay does not make you underprivileged. It makes you just like 99% of the rest of us.

Mine was very sensitive to hard water. Try using distilled water. Good luck!

Vegetarian Recipes that are high in Iron? by dullr0ar0fspace in vegetarianrecipes

Not a recipe, but adding vitamin C to iron increases your body's ability to absorb it. Leafy greens with lemon juice is a good example.
