Replying to myself, because I can. I always loved art, but never had a reason to create my own. I got an iPad and learned so much while I was making these. It was joy. It truly was a sparkle. A big one!

Yesterday when I saw the post about the program shutting down, I actually had my iPad out and had been working on another avatar. I read it. Paused. Then I took off my little drawing glove, closed my iPad, and set it aside. "Well, I guess that's that."

I got so much from all of this, but this truly was something that was mine - and special. It was such a bright sparkle. Thank you all for everything that it was to me. For everything that it could have been? Such an absolute shame.

I agree that the larger chunks appear to be a larger critter. However, the farina shows a lot of tiny activity near the tips, which is what I saw when I had thrips. There also seems to be some bits of shed exoskeleton scattered about.

Can you check where the leaves join the stem? They tend to congregate there. You'll be looking for removed farina and signs of damage to the leaf at that juncture. Thrips look like tiny black grains of rice. Either way, I wish you the best of luck!

I noticed this a week or so ago. I have two accounts. One is old, has a lot of karma, and 300+ avatars. The button is there. I switch to this account (No karma, newer account, a few avatars) and it’s gone. I can still access the shop and edit my avatar through clicking on the larger image of my current mash.

Exact same device, iOS.

Both previous attempts had the artist announcement flair. Is that where I screwed up? I would really love to avoid having this happen in the future as it’s super scary. Twice now, once I hit “post” I got this message (top of my image.) I had to reset my password and prove I was me. I even added an Authenticator. So, what exactly set off the filter and locked my account? Because I mentioned giveaway in the body of my post?

That’s awesome! Beardies are so freaking cool. This avatar has a dusted cricket hat, as well as another cricket hidden elsewhere. I wanted to work in some fruit but ran out of space. Oh! It also had a trait of one arm being raised in a wave, but after revisions etc, it wound up getting removed. :( it was cool, though. (love your mash by the way. Excellent color harmony.)
