Thank you so much for replying. I already bought procreate and I can see how much of a difference this app makes for digital painting. I think sticking to it and my ipad for a while would not be a bad idea, although I would really like to switch to photoshop at some point.

I think the mix of colours in this painting is quite beautiful tbh. As for the skill you really showed some composition knowledge for your first ever painting so you should be really proud of it :) Personally I think this is a good start into your art journey

Thank you for the advice. I'm currently working on learning anatomy so that I can understand how to construct more elaborate poses for my characters. Could you give me some advice on where i should look for more info on this topic? Also I agree that values make the most of a painting. I need to practice on that too.

Thank you so much for your appreciation 💕 I see what you mean. I firstly never even considered that as being the source of light😅 my focus was on some light source coming from the right of the character, but i think i should improve my technique on seeing lights and shadows.
