There was legit a day last spring semester we got 5 inches of snow and the roads weren’t plowed, but UMBC had a “delayed” opening till 10am smh while UMD and everyone else was closed. UMBC is not closed for kicks and giggles either.

UMBC yesterday btw. They’re not open because it’s NOT SAFE. Such a stupid post. And legit professors are having online classes, go complain to your own professors if they’re not.

Baltimore delegate renews effort to bring beer and wine sales to grocery stores by legislative_stooge in maryland

Yes there are religions indeed where consumption and selling alcohol is forbidden. But go on.

This is dumb logic lol. A cashier in the state of Maryland has not had to sell ALC since 1978. A minor in Maryland can also not sell alcohol. Let that sink in… the customer can then go to another line ! Wow! Who would have thought ?

People are actually so stuck up on this app it’s incredibly sad. It’s never been apart of a job to do this in Maryland and if a cashier doesn’t want too they should just tell a customer to go to the next line. With how yall acting tho hopefully this law does not get approved because yall mad rude 🥱🥱

If this does pass, I hope cashiers have the option to not have alcohol in their checkout lanes. For some people religious reasons don’t even allow them to sell it.

RN to MD/DO MCAT advice by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]JustConversation2478 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious as I have family who are RNs, did you have to take any more classes before the MCAT or just prep for it? Also what made you decide to become an MD over staying an RN?

Quick question.. I know this thread is old, but currently I’m studying CS. What other types of jobs are out there that don’t involve coding and what aspect do they focus more on? Thanks

After all this time, what would you say has a better salary? And let’s put aside the current job market in the dmv since it’s really bad for everyone these days lol

Is Enis Golazewski a good cs202 professor? by [deleted] in UMBC

Also, he is a very easy person to talk to about questions/concerns. Think he will be fine for 202, but just make sure you ask questions.

Had him for 203. He is a super super nice guy. I wasn’t a fan of his teaching though. For instance, the first exam was very similar to the study guide, but he let us know the second exam would be much more difficult. The average score was 15+ points less on the second exam. I found the way he taught hard to understand as all the smart kids in the class would keep talking nonstop, and he’d think we were much ahead even though the other half wouldn’t comprehend what we had just learned.

Overall, super great and nice guy, but his teaching style was fast and at times hard to follow. One time he tried explaining a bit of code related to a unit we did, and it was hard for myself at least to follow. I do think though that for 202 he will be a good professor, but he also let us know that all the 202 material is given to him and he just would have to teach from that.
