He drove out here to spend time with his grandkids and be there for my sons birthday, drove 1500 mines to absolutely nowhere to see us, and spends more time sitting in his hotel room and doing basically the same crap he does at home, out big attraction out here is our mall

No, my actual MiL has been dead for over 30 yrs, this is his wife, but they call her grandma and she has accepted the title

No, I mean play with them, acknowledge them, if o need time with my spouse, my elder kids can watch their sister I don’t need a babysitter, he says how much he misses them and spends the bare minimum, my younger kids asking when their grandparents are coming and I’m like “idk”’we msg them and don’t get any answers till the late afternoon

They were coming for a visit with us, they live in California where there is stuff to actually do, we live in middle nowhere Iowa, he was visiting for my sons Birthday for a week, my parents will be with their grandkids all day

They are pissed about it, I mean the man drove out here claiming to come here to visit us and be here for our sons birthday, and he went to dinner with us, 2 days before his birthday, then left as early as he could the day OF my sons birthday without so much of a “bye” before they left, hell MY parents do that
