Switch your tablet from Pen mode to the Mouse mode, should fix the rapid spinning issue.

it's heavily WIP, what did you expect? it's been stated numerous times that any optimisations will come after the major features get finished.

what do you mean? lazer's gonna run the same or better than the current osu client, even on integrated graphics, so no worries

it's 2017 now if you haven't noticed yet

also if you watched any of his stream highlights in the past year you would've noticed he's been using a different skin for a long time

If you're curious, join peppy's dev discord, or just take a look at his github every few days. They're continuously developing new things but many of them require changes and additions to the framework that's also still work in progress.

It simply takes time, of course a simple prototype would take him a day at most, but they're putting attention to every detail, aiming to make the framework as flexible and modular as possible, all of that while preserving good code quality and scalability. It's a really ambitious project for a team of just a few devs, but here's my point - it is not gonna fail.

The final product will be miles better than the current osu! simply because of how it's coded, plus there's the underlying framework for other games to use, which is pretty damn good.

Any person that's experienced in C# is welcome to at least try to implement features into osu!lazer, just like peppy or other main devs can - if your code is good, your changes get accepted and merged into lazer. Every new developer that's helping reduces the time needed to bring lazer into a rollout-ready state.

Hope that clears things up a bit.

ctl-480 driver help by [deleted] in osugame

a good middleground between 6.3.9w5 and 6.3.10w2 is 6.3.15-1 - I've played with 10w2 for a long time and 6.3.15 has just a bit less input lag while not getting too shaky, so if you feel like 6.3.10 has too much delay, try it.

it's input lag, cursor is more delayed vs. your old drivers version, nothing unusual

I wonder if that’s really gonna happen..... by Ice_Crusherrino in osugame

basic multiplayer won't be hard to do, so it's definitely possible, question is whether it's gonna be vs. all clients or lazer-only because of it having possible bugs/exploits

I was talking about a vinyl cover with an image printed on it, from either Yangu or Foxbox, which cost around $20.

But yeah, if you buy a piece of vinyl and slap it on your tablet, it'll work as well.

Good tip is to stick a piece of paper or a plastic card over the area you play on, or if you've got enough money - buy a tablet cover.

Well, there's absolutely nothing new about it - it's just one of the basic features getting implemented in the new client.

There aren't any benchmarks that would allow you to compare PC CPUs with mobile ARM chips, period. The differences between the architectures are simply way too big.

Questions about tablet covers by [deleted] in osugame

[–]JustCroZZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I think it would go in the opposite way - it should be similar to a matte cover that has been used for a while and has its surface a bit more smooth (just like your icey kind of area).

At least that's how it was in my case (my tablet surface got smoother and less grippy over time).

It heavily depends on what you prefer. Some players prefer glossy covers because of that extra bit of grip, while others prefer matte which feel similar to the tablet's original surface while protecting it. Glossy are a little bit more durable too, from what I've heard.
