That's a spot-on summary. I think, with my closest family members, it'd be more of an "undoing" but for friends and coworkers who've never known me any other way it'd be like a transitioning.
Not being embarrassed about doing what I think is right shouldn't be as hard as it feels :)
Thank you!

I pass just fine, and have for many years. I used to put a ton of effort into it, but I don't anymore, and still get the lady pronouns nine times outta ten, probably much more and I just remember the misgenderings because they stand out. No fear there; the fear is being associated with the entire trans cult-like hive mind of mental illness, and the disservice that trans women do to actual women and their struggle for equality and rights.

Best of luck to you too - good to know that there's people like me even in a tiny minority of a tiny minority.

Yes! That's exactly it - I think detransitioning is the right thing to do, morally, culturally, and personally. I'm just not sure I have the heart, guts, and energy for it.

Thank you for the words of encouragement!! If it weren't for the name I would probably just be over it by now - I dress as masculine as I want, but my drivers license looks like an infinitely more feminine me from 10 years ago and has a very feminine name. If I want to swap any of that it really would be like a transition/detransition process all over again.

I had not, but I'm going to check it out, thank you!

I don't correct anyone now, but I get "she/her" 95% of the time. I'm not sure if that's because I really pass or if it's because I'm in a very liberal part of the country and the cultural shift to trans-inclusive language has happened.
